Akshay Kumar: 'Kisne Socha Tha Chandni Chowk Ka Launda' Will Attain Such Stardom, 'Laanat Hai If I Feel Insecure'

Since a few years, Akshay Kumar is on roll. Right from doing films carrying social message, to become the comedy King, Khiladi Kumar has been become one of the top actors of Bollywood. After basking in the success of Mission Mangal co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi among others, Akki is gearing up for the Diwali release of Housefull 4.

From past few years Akshay Kumar has become moviegoers one of the favourite actors. So much so that they would never want to miss out on actor's latest release. Married to Twinkle Khanna, the Baby actor enjoys a tremendous fan following. It's been 20 years since Akki steps his foot in the Industry and now he is ruling it like nobody else. As the entire cast of Housefull 4 is on a promotional spree, Akshay Kumar was asked about his successful career and if anything makes him insecure. Speaking to Time Of India, he said, "By God’s grace and my parents’ blessings, I have everything that one can dream of. Never had I thought that I will reach here and that life will give me so much. I only feel a sense of gratitude for what I have. I never forget where my journey began and how much distance I’ve covered from that point. That fills me with happiness. As for insecurities, na mujhe pehle thi aur na aaj hai. Laanat hai if I ever feel that way after all that I have been blessed with. My parents didn’t ever let that enter my mind. I don’t feel jealous or insecure when I see other people doing well. It doesn’t make me feel bad. Kisne socha tha ki ek Chandni Chowk ka launda kabhi Akshay Kumar banega. I have no reason to feel insecure at this stage of my life and career."

Housefull 4 that co-stars an ensemble cast of actors - Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Sanon and Kriti Kharbanda - has been receiving huge response ever since its trailer was launch. Right from its songs to promo dialogue, the makers of the film are keeping up with the momentum.

Housefull 4 which hits the screens on October 25, sets up a clash with Bhumi Pednekar-Taapsee Pannu starrer Saand Ki Aankh and Rajkummar Rao-Mouni Roy starrer Made In China.
